What is Genius Hour?

Genius Hour is a time dedicated to student driven projects, in which students will learn by doing. Students will identify topics about which they are passionate and design a project. Students will use technology tools to research their interests, and then create a product to share what they’ve learned with the class.

 

Why is Genius Hour important?

Genius Hour allows students the opportunity to develop their own learning projects. By developing projects around their own interests, students will take ownership of their learning. Genius Hour sparks curiosity and encourages life-long learning!
